In this study, the damaged animal skin model was constructed by ultraviolet irradiation. The biological effects of the implanted materials were systematically studied by injecting recombinant humanized type III collagen and control materials. It was confirmed that recombinant humanized type III collagen could significantly increase the expression of extracellular matrix (increase the secretion of type I collagen and type III collagen), and promote the repair and reconstruction of damaged skin; besides, it can also improve the activity of SOD expression and has certain antioxidant activity, which is safe and effective.
